Accused Of Rape Arrested
Police arrested 22-year-old Surendra Bam of Palata Rural Municipality-8 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The victim alleged that the accused took the victim to his house in pretext to marry her and raped her on December 28.
The Police arrested the accused on December 31 after the victim filed a complaint against him at the District Police Office. DSP Arjun KC informed that the accused has been arrested for investigation based on the complaint of the victim. The health examination of the victim was done on December 31 at the District Hospital.
