Accused Of Rape Arrested
District Police Office Siraha arrested Shambhu Das of Aurahi Rural Municipality-5 on October 27 for the charge of rape of an 18-year-old girl.
According to the aggrieved party the accused raped the victim on October 22. However, they became aware of the incident only at a later time and lodged a complaint in the District Police Office on October 27 seeking appropriate action.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 27 at the Provincial Hospital.
According to Rabindraraj Pandey, the DSP of the District Police Office the accused was arrested and action was taken forward as soon as the case was filed.
