Accused Of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Naresh Joshi of Melauli Municipality-5, Khaligad on October 11 on the charge of raping a 45-year-old woman on October 8.
Inspector Yogesh Khatri of the District Police Office, Baitadi, mentioned that the accused Joshi was arrested after the victim filed the complaint on October 10 and the investigation is currently underway.
According to the aggrieved party , the accused raped the woman in the Lamakhola forest of Melauli Municipality-6 on October 8 and absconded. Inspector Khatri said that the accused was arrested from Lamalek market.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 10 at District Hospital, Baitadi.
