Accused Of Rape Arrested
Police arrested 40-year-old Ram Bahadur Khanal, Office assistant and bus co-driver of Adarsh Secondary School, Rapti rural municipality-2 on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl on September 3, 2023.
The accused was arrested from the school premises according to Ujwal Bahadur Singh, Inspector of Area Police Office, Bhaluwang.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused on September 2 2023 at Area Police Office, Bhalubang alleging that the accused had raped the victim on August21.
Police arrested the accused on the basis of the complaint filed and started further investigation. The victim has been living in the hostel for five years.
The health examination of the victim was done on September 3 at Rapti Institute of Science, Ghorahi.
