Accused of Rape Arrested
On July 24, 2023, the police arrested Abhishek Kumar, 23 years old, resident of Dudhauli Municipality-5, Sirthauli on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
The victim party registered a complaint at the nearby police office in Dakaha, stating that the accused had raped the girl on July 24.
Inspector Kishor Dhungana from the District Police Office stated that Kumar was arrested while he was walking, following the complaint.
The victim underwent a health examination at the Sindhuli Hospital on July 24.
Inspector Dhungana informed that the police have extended the investigation period by nine days from the District Court in Sindhuli, starting from July 25, regarding the allegations against the accused.
