Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Manish Bhujel, 21, Puranchour, Pokhara-19, on May 22, 2023, for sexual abuse of a 13-year-old through an online platform.
The aggrieved party filed a case against Bhujel at the cyber bureau on May 16, stating that the accused recorded obscene conversations and video chats with the victim through social media like Snapchat and Viber and sent threatening messages when the victim refused to comply with his requests.
Pashupati Kumar Rai, representative of Cyber Bureau, informed that the team of Police Headquarters Cyber Bureau in coordination with the District Police Office, Kaski, arrested Bhujel.
