Accused of Rape Arrested
The police arrested a 16-year-old boy of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3, on a charge of rape of an 11-year-old girl on 14 March 2023.
The victim alleges that the accused raped the victim on 5 March, when she was collecting fodder in Burlung forest in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3.
District Police Inspector Haribol K.C said the victim’s mother filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 7 March.
The medical examination of the victim girl was done on the same day at Chautara Hospital.
