Accused of Rape Arrested
Jitendra Chaudhary, 26, of Ramgram Municipality-10, has been arrested by police on 9 March in the charge of rape of a 29-year-old woman.
Victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 8 March stating that the accused rape her the same day.
DSP of District Police Office, Bhojraj Pande informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and the investigation is underway.
As per the victim, her husband is in foreign country and the accused raped her while she was home alone.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Prithivi Chandra District Hospital, Parasi, on 9 March 2023.
