Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Bhagwati Harijan alis Sunil, 20, of Susta Rural Municipality-2, Bandevi, on 26 February, in the chagre of rape of a 17-year-old girl.
Victim filed a complaint at the District Police office, Parasi on 26 February alleging that the accused rape her on 25 February.
Inspector Nawaraj KC informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and the investigation is underway.
As per the victim, accused raped her while she was coming back from the field.
Medical examination of the accused was conducted at Prithivi Chandra District Hospital, Parasi, on 26 February 2023.
