Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested a 79-year-old grandfather on 25 February in the charge of rape of a 10-year-old girl.
Aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the District Police office on 25 February alleging that the accused rape the victim on 17 February 2023.
DSP of the District Police office Sarat Thapa informed that the accued was arrested for the investigation from his home following the registration of the complaint of incest rape.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at District Hospital on 25 February.
