Accused of Rape Arrested
A 16-year-old boy from Chaubise Rural Municipality-2, has been arrested by the police on 23 February in the charge of rape of a 12-year-old girl.
Aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the area police office on 21 February alleging that the accused rape the victim on 11 December 2022.
Inspector Mana Prasad Shrestha informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and the investigation is underway.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at District hospital on 22 February 2023.
