Accused of Rape Arrested
Organ Tharu, 21, of Lahan Municipality-11, has been arrested by the police on 26 January, in the charge of rape of a 21-year-old woman.
As per the aggrieved party, the accused raped her by alluring her of getting married from 22 August to 8 November 2022. Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Province hospital, Lahan on 26 January.
Inspector of the area police office, Komal Thakur informed that the accused has absconded and the search operation is ongoing.
