Accused of Rape Arrested
A 46-year-old father from Rubi Valley Rural Municipality-6, has been arrested by the police on 26 January in the charge of rape of a 13-year-old daughter.
Victim filed a complaint at district police office alleging that the accused raped her in their temporary home at Nilkantha Municipality-12 on 24 January last time. The victim who was raped time and again was rescued on 25 January and kept on a safe home run by Sahayatri Samaj.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Dhading Hospital on 26 January. Inspector of District Police Office, Ramesh Thapa informed that a case of incest rape has been filed against the accused at the court and the accused is kept under the custody based on the court’s order.
