Accused of Rape Arrested
Ganesh Bahadur Thapa, 38, of Indrawati Rural Municipality-4, has been arrested by the police on January 23, in the charge of rape of a 11-year-old girl.
The victim has alleged that the accused raped her by taking her to a local jungle on 9 January 2023.
Inspector of District Police Office, Haribol K.C. informed that victim’s mother filed the complaint on behalf of the victim at area police office on 10 January.
As per Dr. Dharmendra Pandey, health checkup of the victim was conducted on 10 January at Nawalpur Hospital.
Inspector inspector informed that the absconded accused was found after the search operation.
