Accused of Rape Arrested
Shreeram Chaudhary, 45, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-11, has been arrested by the police on January 19, in the charge of rape of a 43-year-old woman.
Victim had filed a complaint at area police office on January 18, alleging that the accused rape her on January 17.
As per the victim’s side, the accused raped her after consumption of alcohol, while she was sleeping in her home.
DSP of the area police office, Pushpa Raj Malla, informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and the case is under investigation.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Rapati Province Hospital, Tulsipur, on January 17.
