Accused of Rape Arrested
Nam Raj Paudel, 37, of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-2, has been arrested by the police on January 17, in the charge of rape of a 33-year-old woman.
Victim’s side filed a complaint at district police office, Dang, on January 17, alleging that the accused raped the victim on January 2 while she was in the jungle of Lamahi Municipality-6, Beldamar to cut the grass.
DSP of the district police office, Dang, Bir Bahadru Oli, informed tha the investigatio has been started based on the complaint filed.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at Rapati Health and Science Institute, Gorahi on January 12.
