Accused of Rape Arrested
Santosh Yogi, 20, of Ilam Municipality-6, has been arrested by the police on January 5 2023, in the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl.
Victim’s family had filed a complaint in the district police office on January 2 alleging that the accused raped the girl on May 8. 2022.
Tej Bahadur Dahal, Information Officer of District Police Office informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed and the case is under investigation.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted in the district hospital on January 2.
