Accused of Rape Arrested
Lekdhan Rai, 45, of Majhuwagadi Municipality-6, Rupakot, Diktel, has been arrested by the police on January 2, in the charge of raping a 20-year-old girl.
Victim’s family had filed a complaint in the district police office on January 2 alleging that the accused had raped the girl on December 14.
Manjil Mukarung, DSP of the district police office informed that the accused has been arrested based on the complaint filed by the victim’s family and the case is under investigation.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at the district hospital on January 2.
