Accused of Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Nishan Tamang, 19, of Dhungre, Bardibas of Mahottari district and currently residing in Suryavinayak Municipality-1, Sirutar, on the charge of raping a seven-year-old girl. The accused was arrested on November 22, 2022.
The accused had raped the girl on November 14 in her room and the family of the victim filed a complaint against the accused at Metropolitan Police Circle on November 22.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at Bhaktapur Hospital and the search for the accused has been ongoing, stated DSP Raju Pandey
