Accused of Rape Arrested
The police arrested a 29-year-old husband of Myanglung Municipality-6 on September 12 on the charge of raping his 24-year-old wife.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on September 11, 2022, on the charge of raping her on the same day.
Inspector Chhe Phinjo Bhote of District Police Office said that the accused was arrested for investigation based on the victim’s complaint.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the district hospital on September 11.
