Accused of Rape Arrested
Police has arrested Madan Chaudhary, 42, of Guradaha Rural Municipality-1 currently residing at Melung Rural Municipality-4 on charge of raping 6 years old girl on 24 July.
Victim’s family filed a verbal complaint at Melung Police station on 24 July stating the rape incident.
Police Constable Rajendra Shrestha of Melung Police station said the accused was arrested on same day and after that victim’s family filed a written complaint on 25 July.
As per the police girl’s health checkup was conducted at Primary Health post, Charikot on 25 July.
