Accused of Rape Arrested
A team of Area Police Office, Sabala has arrested Ram Narayan Sah, 55, and Noor Mohammad, 35, residents of Sabala Municipality-9 Kusamaha, on the charge of gang-raping a 24-year-old woman. According to the police, three of the accused are absconding.
The victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Sabala, alleging that five of them had gang-raped her on August 7. The complaint was filed on August 8.
The victim’s health was examined at Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital on August 8.
The victim suffered injuries on several parts of her body and is being treated at the provincial hospital.
Inspector Rajkumar Singh Thakuri of the Area Police Office Sabala said that the search for the three absconding accused is ongoing.
