Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Chaman BK, 28, of Shantinagar Rural Municipality-5 on August 2, 2022, on the charge of raping an eight-year-old girl.
The victim filed a complaint at the Tulsipur Area Police Office saying that the accused had raped her on August 2.
DSP Shyamu Aryal of Tulsipur Area Police Office said that based on the complaint, the accused was arrested while he was hiding in his relative’s house located in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-18.
The victim’s father told the INSEC that the girl was raped while she was playing.
The health examination of the victim was conducted on August 2 at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
