Accused of Rape Arrested
Police arrested Bal Bahadur Chaudhary, 29, of Lamahi Municipality-6 on the charge of raping a 67-year-old woman on July 28, 2022.
The victim filed a complaint at Lamahi Ward Police Office on July 27 saying that the accused had raped her on June 18.
DSP Mukund Rijal of District Police Office Dang informed that the accused was arrested and an investigation has started based on the complaint. DSP Rijal said that further investigation is ongoing regarding the incident.
The victim said that the accused had raped her several times before and she did not file a complaint because she did not know him this time she filed a complaint after knowing the accused.
The health examination of the victim was done on July 27 at Lamahi Hospital.
