Accused of Misbehaviour Arrested
Police have arrested the accused in the incident of misbehaviour on January 12 and 13. They were arrested on the charge of misbehaving with a journalist while he collecting news in Solukhumbu.
The journalists was misbehaved during the District Conference of Congress Solukhumbu on November 30, 2021. The arrested ones are Jeevan Basnet, 28, Vice Chairperson of Nepal Student Union from Mapyududhkoshi Rural Municipality-4, Congress’ Constitutional Representative Pradip Basnet, 33, from Nechasalyan Rural Municipality-2 and Bibhushan Rai, 20, Chairperson of Nepal Student Union.
It is alleged that the accused attacked Subash Darnal, 26, of Soludhudhkund Municipality-3 and Raman Ban, 20, of Thulungdhkoshi Rural Municipality-4 on November 30, 2021. They are the reporters of Solu FM.
After the incident, the victim journalist had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on December 1, 2021.
Police have arrested Jeevan Basnet, 28, Vice Chairperson of Nepal Student Union from his residence at Mapyududhkoshi Rural Municipality-4 on January 13.
