Accused of Killing his Mother Arrested
On August 14, the police took into custody 33-year-old Dillikumar Limbu under the accusation of committing the homicide of his 63-year-old mother, Dhanmaya Limbu, from Maivakhola Rural Municipality-6, Fakumba.
According to District Police Office Inspector Kusharam Karki, the accused is alleged to have killed his mother on the specified date. Inspector Karki further reported that the local community notified the Sanghu police station team of the incident, prompting them to apprehend the accused directly from the crime scene after discovering that Dhanmaya Limbu had been fatally shot.
While the motive behind the killing has yet to be disclosed, law enforcement officials suggested that the incident might have occurred during a domestic dispute.
In light of the tragic incident, arrangements are being made to transport the deceased’s body to the district hospital for a post-mortem examination.
