Accused of Killing Arrested
Police have arrested Dan Bahadur Thapa, 63, of Gadhwa Rural Municipality-7 on November 8, 2021, on the charge of killing his 50-year-old wife Sunita Roka.
DSP Mukunda Rijal of the District Police Office informed that the accused had killed his wife by hitting her from the edge of an axe during a domestic dispute on November 6.
According to DSP Rijal, Thapa, who was absconding after the incident, was arrested and is being investigated.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi on November 6.
