Accused of Killing Arrested
Police arrested 22-year-old Umesh Budha of Guras Rural Municipality-4 on 21 April for allegedly killing 55-year-old Amar Singh Budha of the same place.
It is reported that the victim injured by the beating of the accused in a land dispute lost his life on April 20 at the Karnali Province Hospital during treatment. The postmortem of the deceased was done on April 21.
Inspector Dipak Magarathi stated that the complaint was filed against the accused, his wife Pratima Budha, 22 and his mother Mina Mahtara, 45 on April 21. Subsequently, Umesh Budha was arrested on the basis of the complaint.
Inspector Magarathi added that the investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
