Accused of Killing Arrested
Police have arrested Laxman Rai, 42, on September 19, 2021, on the charge of killing his 82-year-old mother Wadalaxmi Rai of Nechasalyan Rural Municipality-5.
Inspector Omprakash Yadav of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused had asked for money from his mother and after she denied giving the money, he killed her on September 19 using a hammer.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at the District Hospital on September 20.
