Accused of Killing Arrested
Police have arrested Tanka Bhandari, 24, on the charge of killing his father Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari by attacking him with an iron rod. They are the residents of Chhathar Rural municipality-5, Okhre. Tanka was arrested by the police on August 3, 2022.
The accused had attacked his father with the iron rod during a domestic dispute on August 2. The complaint was filed by his mother at Chhathar Police Station on August 3.
The accused was arrested immediately for investigation after the complaint was filed.
Inspector Chhe Finjo Bhote told INSEC that the accused was arrested for further investigation regarding the incident.
The post-mortem of the victim was conducted on August 3 at Dhankuta Hospital.
Family of the victim received the dead body on the same day and completed the final rituals of the victim. He was cremated at the crematory of Dhankuta Municipality-9, Mulghat.
