Accused of Killing Arrested
Police have arrested Om Bahadur Nepali, 36 and Kumar Gurung, 37, of Madi Rural Municipality-5 on March 19, 2022 on the charge of killing Naumaya Nepali, 67, of Pokhara Municipality-12. The deceased is the mother Om Bahadur Nepali.
During the initial investigation it was discovered that the victim had a dispute with her son regarding selling property after which accused Nepali had instructed accused Gurung to kill her. The victim was throttled to death on March 17, informed DSP Sundar Tiwari of the District Police Office.
The complaint was filed by the victim’s other son Tek Bahadur Nepali of Pokhara Metropolitan City- 12 had filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Kaski.
The District Court has the send the accused to custody for six days for investigation.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at Pokhara Institute of Health Science on March 19.
