Accused of Human Trafficking Arrested
On August 20, the District Police Office in Malangwa arrested a 36-year-old Dipman Khadka from Kamalamai Municipality-5 in Sindhuli District. He is accused of attempted human trafficking. The police suspect that Khadka was trying to take two women to India to sell them.
A special team from the District Police Office in Sarlahi apprehended the accused Khadka while he was in India. The case against him for human trafficking was registered on August 22.
The district court extended the investigation deadline by three days. The authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident, and it’s possible that other individuals may also be involved in the case.
