Accused of Human Trafficking and Transportation Arrested
Police arrested Numaraj Bhusal, 44 of Lamhi Municipality-5, on April 18, 2023, on charges of human trafficking and transportation of 19 and 20-year-old women.
The accused filed a complaint against Bhusal, owner of B&B Hotel in Lamhi, at the Local Police Office, on April 18, accusing him of luring them in the pretense of work and forcing them to perform sexual acts for four months until April 10.
DSP, Rajan Kumar Gautam, of the District Police Office, informed that the police arrested the accused from the hotel and started an investigation.
Health examination of both the victims was done on April 5 at Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi.
