Accused of Beating Arrested
Yagya Midun, 35, has been arrested by the police in the chagre of beating Khagisar Midun, 32, of Lekbesi Municipality-2, Puranogaun on 5 March 2023.
As per the area police office, the accused hit the victim with a wooden stick following a domestic dispute.
Initial treatment of the victim was done at Mehelkuna hospital and was transferred to Karnali Provincial hospital for further treatment. Hospital has informed that the victim was under treatment till 8 March.
As per the victim’s relatives, they will initiate a legal proceeding after the treatment.
