Accused of Attempted rape Arrested
Police have arrested Premkumar Rai, 35, of Sotang Rural Municipality-5 on the charge of attempting to rape a 20-year-old girl on December 17, 2022.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the district police office on December 17, alleging that the accused attempted to rape the victim on December 16.
District Police Office Inspector Ram Kishore Shah said that the accused was arrested from his house based on the complaint of the victim.
The health examination of the victim was done at the district hospital on December 17.
