Accused of Attempted Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Ram Krishna Basnet, 53, of Bhimeshwor Municipality-5 on January 19, 2022 on the charge of attempting to rape a 28-year-old woman. He had absconded after the incident.
According to the victim, the accused had tried to rape her on December 16, 2021 and had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on December 23, 2021.
The victim was examined at the Provincial Hospital, Charikot on December 23, 2021.
