Accused of Attempted Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Amar Rawat, 22, of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan-15 on October 25 on the charge of attempting to rape a 46-year-old woman.
The accused had tried to rape the victim on October 23 and the victim had filed a complaint on October 24.
DSP Shyamu Aryal told INSEC that the accused was arrested based on the complaint lodged by the victim at the Area Police Office, Tulsipur.
The victim told the INSEC representative that the accused had even beaten her. She was treated and her health checkup was conducted at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur on October 25.
