Accused Of Attempted Rape Arrested
The police arrested 26-year-old Dawa Tamang of Panchpokhari Thampal Rural Municipality-3 on January 4, 2024 for of attempting to rape a 21-year-old girl. SP Balnarsingh Rana of the District Police Office said that the victim filed a complaint at the District Police Office on December 18 alleging that the accused had attempted to rape the her on the same day.
The health examination of the victim was done on December 18 at Chautara Hospital. Inspector Sanjib Kumar Yadav, In-charge of the Case Branch of the District Police Office, informed INSEC that the police are investigating the accused in custody.
