Accused Of Attempted Rape Arrested
The District Police Office,Gorkha arrested 51-year-old Narayan Neupane of Aarughat Rural Municipality-8, Ijargaun for the crime of rape of a 20-year-old woman on October 14.
District Police Office Gorkha DSP Ramesh Kumar Shrestha informed that the accused was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the aggrieved party on October 13. The complaint stated that the accused attempted to rape the victim on August 10.
Shrestha informed that the case has been registered in the District Court of Gorkha under the title of attempted rape on October 16 and further investigation is underway.
The health examination of the victim was done on October 13 at Gorkha Hospital.
