Accused of Attempted Rape Arrested
Law enforcement officials apprehended Mr. Tulram Giri, a 59-year-old resident of Baityashwar Rural Municipality-6, on the grounds of an alleged attempted rape against a 24-year-old woman. The victim lodged a formal complaint at the district police office on July 2, recounting the accused’s endeavor to assault her while alone at her residence on July 1.
Promptly following the incident, a comprehensive medical examination of the victim was conducted on the same day at Pashupati Memorial Hospital, Charikot. Inspector Rajesh Sigdel of the District Police Office confirmed that, in light of the victim’s complaint, the accused was apprehended to facilitate further investigation into the matter.
