Accused Of Attempted Killing Arrested
Police arrested 45-year-old husband Bir Bahadur Rai on October 11,2023 for allegedly stabbing and attempting to kill 35-year-old Rita Rai of Ranipokhari, Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality-3.
The aggrieved party filed a verbal complaint against the accused on October 10 at the Area Police Office, Kapilakot.
According to DSP Chiranjibi Dahal of the District Police Office, accused Rai was drunk and struck Rita on the forehead and neck with a wooden object.In addition,the victim was seriously injured by the attack.
The medical treatment of the victim is being done at College Of Medical Sciences, Chitwan.
DSP Dahal informed INSEC that further investigation is ongoing while keeping the accused in custody.
