Accused Of Attempted Beating Arrested
Police arrested 42-year-old Mahesh Rai of Mahalakshmi Municipality-5 Legu on December 14 for the charge of attempting to mistreat Chairperson KP Sharma Oli of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) UML.
DSP Rajbabu Marhajan of the District Police Office reported that the accused attempted to physically assault Chairperson Oli in the waiting line for welcoming him during “Jhulaghat Chiwabhanjyang Sambriddhi Ka Lagi Sankalpa Yatra” on December 14 at Mahalakshmi Municipality-5 Leguwa Bajar.
The police have kept the accused at Leguwa Police Station for further inquiry.
