Accused of Attempt to Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Ek Bahadur Sunar, 50, of Ajirkot rural municipality-5 Mucchok on the charge of attempting to rape a 55-year-old woman on September 11.
The accused was arrested on September 11 by the Area Police Office, Joubari, based on a verbal complaint that the victim had been raped on September 12.
The victim’s relatives filed a written complaint at the District Police Office on September 12. The health examination of the victim woman was done on the 27th of August at the district hospital.
District Police Office of Gorkha DSP Lilaraj Lamichhane informed that a case was registered against the accused on September 12 under the title of Attempt to Rape and the investigation process had started.
