Accused of Attempt to Rape Arrested
Police have arrested Shatrodhan Yadav, 35, Manager of Prabhu Saving and Credit Cooperative of Gaushala Municipality-5 and resident of Sonama Rural Municipality-7 on August 18, 2022.
The accused had tried to rape the victim on August 16 and the complaint was filed at the Area Police Office on the same day.
According to the victim, the accused had tried to lure the victim with NPR 13,500 cash and she had escaped to Area Police Office for help.
Area Police Office has informed that the accused has been arrested and further investigation is ongoing.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted at a Primary Health Centre of Gaushala on August 17.
Even the Chairperson of the Cooperative has stated that this is not the first time that such a complaint has been filed against the accused and has asked for an investigation and strict actions against him.
