Accused of Attacking Police in Mahendranagar Arrested
Santosh Sharma, 30, of Laxminiya Rural Municipality-6 was arrested on March 29 and Rohit Yadav, 31, was arrested on March 31 for assaulting 35-year-old ASI Shaligram Subedi, 32-year-old police constable Rakesh Ramtel and 29-year-old police constable Anand Babu Babu Sah at Kshireshwarnath Municipality-6 The Mahendranagar Police Office has arrested Rohit Yadav, 30, of Sinurjoda in Laxminiya Rural Municipality-3 on March 31.
Police said that the motorcyclist (J. 12 Pa 5014) was riding from Sakhuwa Chowk without wearing a helmet when police tried to stop the motorcycle.
Santosh Sharma and Rohit Yadav, who was riding a motorcycle, attacked the police from Haraiya Chowk of the same municipality on March 29 and brought them to the Area Police Office.
The injured policemen have been treated at Mahendranagar Health Care on March 30. The condition of the injured is normal, said DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra of District Police Office, Dhanusha.
