Accused of Abduction Arrested
Nishan Shahi Thakuri, 19 and Sumit Bhandari, 24, of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-3, Prem Dangi, 23 and Durgesh Sharma, 24 of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-9 and Kamal BK, 21 of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-8 were arrested on February 21, 2022, on the charge of abducting Raman Dangi, 20 and Lalit Oli, 19, and attempting to abduct Manisha Oli, 19 of Bajchaur Municipality-9, Salyan. The victims were temporarily residing at Beluwa of Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan-9 in Dang District.
According to Manisha Oli, she and Lalit were making TikTok at Tulsipur Submetropolitan-3, Damargau on February 21, 2022, when Nishan and Durgesh arrived on an unidentified motorbike and forcedly took Lalit with them.
Immediately after which Manisha had informed Raman and he had gone to rescue Lalit. Nishan and Durgesh had brutally beaten Raman and had taken him towards the forest.
Inspector Shyamu Aryal of Area Police Office told INSEC that Raman was rescued on February 21 from a field near Gahateykhola of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-8 while he was surrounded by the accused.
Manisha had filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office Tulsipur on February 22.
An accused, Bishal Sunar, 20 of Tulsipur Submetropolitan-8 was not arrested and search was ongoing, informed the police.
