Accused Murderer Arrested
Area Police Office of Lahan has arrested Bisheswor Prasad Shah,45 on August 18 on charge of murdering his wife Babita Shah,43 of Lahan Municipality-6.
The victim was seriously injured on the night of August 18 when she was attacked by her husband with a stone on her head over a family dispute. He daughter Sujata Shah ,6 was also seriously injured in an incident. His wife Babita died while undergoing treatment at hospital whereas his daughter is undergoing treatment at BP memorial hospital in Dharan.
The victim’s brother Sunil Shah has lodged a complaint at Area Police Office of Lahan on August 20. The post-mortem of body was conducted at Uma Prasad Murarka Hospital in Lahan on August 20. DSP Raj Kumar KC of Area Police Office of Lahan said that the accused has been arrested for the further investigation.
