Accused Murderer Arrested
Police have arrested 38-year-old Buddhi Bahadur Khatri on August 19 on charge of attacking and murdering his mother Deuti Khatri,65 of Sakla VDC-1 with an axe. The accused was at large after the incident.
The accused had attacked his mother with an axe over a land dispute on August 6 according to the acting inspector Hikmat Bohara of District Police Office.
Police said that Buddhi Bahadur had also lodged a complaint about missing of his mother on August 18. He was arrested based on the information given by the locals.
Inspector Bohora said that the accused admitted that he murdered his mother over a land dispute and buried her in a ditch.
