Accused Arrested on the Charge of Killing Senior Citizen
Shaligram Bastola, 33, of Bheriganga Municipality, was arrested on the charge of killing Dillisara Jaisi, 72, Lekheshi Municipality-9. He was arrested on November 14.
Ward Chairperson Man Bahadur Somai informed that the locals found Dillisara dead with injuries on her head on November 14.
According to DSP Suraj Karki, District Police Office, Surkhet, the woman’s dead body was found in a field, half kilometres away from her house.
The police are preparing for the body’s post-mortem at the Karnali Provincial Hospital, Surkhet. The deceased’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Surkhet, on November 15.
