Accused Arrested for Statutory Rape
Police arrested 72-year-old Rudra Bahadur Khatri of Dhangadimai Municipality-13 on 24 November for the charge of raping a 10-year-old minor. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Lahan on 20 November alleging that the accused had raped the girl from 30 September 2024 to 18 November 2024.
Inspector Shiva Kattel of the Area Police Office Lahan said that the absconding accused was arrested with the help of the Udayapur police and further action has been taken forward.
The health examination of the victim was done on 20 November at the Provincial Hospital, Lahan.
